Hadrian's Wall Country
Northumberland National Park

Northumberland National Park

With Hadrian's Wall to the south and the Scottish Border to its north, Northumberland National Park offers visitors stunning views as well as a rich history. The National Park lies entirely in the county of Northumberland and has many attractions such as the Cheviots, a range of hills that are located on the border between England and Scotland. The Park is also home to the Kielder Forest, which is the largest man-made woodland in England.

Hadrian's Wall is of course the biggest attraction in Northumberland National Park. With the southernmost area of the Park featuring the central section of the Wall, there is no better place to gaze out upon the Roman-built architecture, which snakes along the beautiful Northern countryside.
