Both the English Heritage and National Trust are home to some of Britain's most treasured sites and attractions. Being a member of one, or both, of these associations means that you can visit any of its sites for free, as many times as you like.

- Hadrian's Wall: Benwell Roman Temple & Vallum Crossing- The remains of a small temple, which paid homage to the Roman God 'Antenociticus' outside Benwell Fort.
